This nominee has truly gone out of her way to support the cause of getting more women into finance through her leadership within her organisation and the wider sector. Her championing of culture - scoring in the top 10 - has had a significant impact on the business. She has mentored women in her own area of market liquidity risk and is developing a strong talent pipeline of women. She is supporting colleagues from ethnically diverse groups through a dedicated mentoring programme, to better understand the perspectives of these colleagues and to challenge the organisation to be more inclusive and diverse based on learnings from the initiative. With her continuous efforts to learn and develop herself, she is in turn making the organisation better and is able to better serve those she is supporting. She is a true advocate.
